Description
The Noetix Bumi Standard is the entry edition of Noetix Robotics' compact humanoid robot: 98 cm tall, about 17 kg, with 21 degrees of freedom — six in each leg, four in each arm and one at the waist. It walks, dances, stands up by itself, learns new moves in teaching mode and talks with you in Chinese and English, and it is controlled entirely from the NOETIX Run phone app.
Noetix builds Bumi for family companionship, maker education, programming learning and technology enthusiasts. Beginners start with visual programming and audiobooks in the app, while developers can build on the upper-layer motion-control SDK (HighController). Teaching mode records the movements you demonstrate by moving its limbs by hand — up to 255 of them — and new dances arrive through free over-the-air updates.
The knee joints deliver up to 70 N·m, a camera and an IMU handle perception, and a microphone array and speaker in the head carry voice conversation (wake word “Bumi Bumi”). A 48 V 5.1 Ah quick-release smart battery gives 2–3 hours of runtime and charges off the robot in about 1–2 hours.
Bumi Standard or Bumi Pro? Both editions share the same body, battery, camera and app. The Standard connects over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and plays the low-intensity dance library; the Bumi Pro adds a 4G/5G module and high-intensity dances. Motor-level development (LowController) is reserved for the EDU editions.
Good to know: according to Noetix, Bumi does not run, climb stairs or avoid obstacles by itself, is not waterproof and is designed for flat indoor floors; its modelled hands are not built to carry loads, and voice-commanded movement is not supported yet. Every Bumi is sourced new through established distribution channels with the Noetix manufacturer warranty, and Robotix Market ships worldwide.

They share the same 98 cm, 21-joint body, battery, camera and app. The Bumi Pro adds a 4G/5G module (the Standard connects over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth) and the high-intensity dance library. Motor-level development and the Chinese New Year dance are reserved for the EDU editions: EDU-Air, EDU-Pro and EDU-Max.
Noetix confirms that every Bumi ships with its quick-release smart battery and a charger with charging base, packed in a two-layer box with foam inserts that Noetix recommends keeping for storage. The robot is controlled from the free NOETIX Run app, so no remote controller is needed. We confirm the full packing list with your quotation.
For voice conversation, yes: it needs an internet connection, which the Standard gets over Wi-Fi. Basic movement, such as standing up and walking, also works without Wi-Fi over a direct Bluetooth link to the NOETIX Run app. For voice without Wi-Fi, the Bumi Pro adds a 4G/5G module.
According to Noetix, Bumi does not run, climb stairs, avoid obstacles by itself or follow people, and it is not waterproof: use it indoors on flat, dry floors. Movement is controlled from the app — voice commands for movement are not supported yet. The modelled hands are not designed to carry loads, and Noetix advises adult supervision when children use the robot.
Yes. Robotix Market ships worldwide. Every Bumi is sourced new through established distribution channels and comes with the Noetix Robotics manufacturer warranty, 12 months from first activation under Noetix's after-sales policy; technical support is coordinated with the manufacturer's service network.
